Oh Baby ! Guess the name!

Baby Dieters name is a secret. We did this to make the day more special for us and a nice surprise for our family and friends. It does not feel like anyone understands this. But they have no choice!
I am just making this fun and making this post a guessing game. If you do guess it correctly... I will send you a little something in the mail!
You won't know until she's born though & she's a late baby!

Clues:
• She is a princess
• She is a singer
• She is a bad ass
• She is a mean aunt
• She is an actress
• She is under 200 of name rank
• She is a politician
• She is a journalist

And these are the clues I can reveal.
Comment Below and Good Luck

5 Fave Friday

1.

Received this gift from my good friend Jana (read her blog here - she started blogging again). I just couldn't stop crying. I can't tell you how much this meant to me. And I am sure she knows this.
Also, if you're interested in getting this shirt for someone you can find their site here.

2.
Making these paper pinwheels for baby girl's room. I wish I would have worked with hot glue before... yeah I just started in December. It makes it way easier than tape.

3. You can now find me on Poshmark! I will be selling a lot of maternity clothes on there and after the baby I have other things that are packed that I will be selling - non maternity. I hope to sell clothing to basically get clothing. Because we wont have that extra cash just floating about.  Hopefully I have better luck than the Facebook Yard Sales.

4. Mesh underwear the hospital gives you. I know this is a weird favorite. But if I had these the entire pregnancy I would have been a much happier person. I now have to buy all new underwear for how many that I ripped because of my huge hips! Any thoughts on comfortable underwear after pregnancy? Or even just affordable comfortable? I usually by Joe Boxer. I did have some Aeri in the mix too!

Seriously how adorable are these!?! I want one for our little!
These were at the grocery store where my husband works.  As soon as I know what hair color she has... I mean my guy is dark. Because we both have very dark hair. And she is supposed to have a lot of it. I will have him pick her up one!!

-My favorites this week weren't a lot. As I have been in and out of the hospital lately with false alarms and doctor visits. I have just been watching TV and taking naps.  Hoping next week's favorites has something to do with our baby girl - as in her arrival!?

What are your favorites this week? Leave a comment down below!

Movement: She loves to move it, but there is no room left!
Sleep: i sleep between 2 - 5 hours at night. 5 being a good night / possibly if I take benedryl. I tend to just rely on daytime naps.
Cravings/Aversions:  it was still sweets this week. I avoid all spicy & garlic food!

What I’m Looking Forward To: the day she arrives! Whenever that maybe!
Next Appointment: Friday
•••••
Monday my contractions started at about 5:45 am. They continued to get much worse & closer together. Because we live about 40 minutes from the hospital my husband wanted to wait this time to make sure it was the real deal. Finally after 2 1/2 hours I called the dr & was told to go to the hospital. We got there & I told the nurses (for the 3rd time) this is it! And 3 hours later after being completely violated (some nurses need to know gentle vs not) I was released. No difference in how far I'm dilated. The 2 nurses were really nice! Thankfully as I cried. We then came home & I ate loads of chocolate & slept.
Tuesday I had my regular dr appointment. Had my NST
I had to drink some soda to wake her up. And then she was good!
And only had 1 contraction!

We discussed (unfortunately) what dr would be be there for delivery. It won't be him - so I do have to see a different dr Friday to see what the next step is. Because I'm passed my due date.

Oh Baby! 39 weeks!

Size of Baby:   At 37 weeks she was 6 lbs & 14 oz // the bump says as big as a watermelon
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 61 lbs gained.   Water weight galore
Maternity Clothes:  I wear leggings & even those can get uncomfortable. I have about 3 shirts that fit : so those I wear out in public. Otherwise it's my husbands tees!
Gender:  You can see here but we are having a little diva!
Belly Button In/Out: I have an innie and most of it is out but it's weird looking!
Stretch Marks: Yes. Lot more on my bump now!
Labor Signs: contractions... But no baby! More on that below.
Movement: she punched husband in the face while he was laying on my belly! And kicked my cat Thomad when he was laying on her! :)
Sleep: i sleep between 2 - 5 hours at night. 5 being a good night / possibly if I take benedryl. I tend to just rely on daytime naps.
Cravings/Aversions:  sweets & sandwiches. This past weekend I wanted ice cream so bad that I cried hard core!. I avoid all spicy & garlic food!
Symptoms: swollen hands, feet, face. Pregnancy mask. Lower back & hip pain. False contractions. Bad preggy brain! Very tired. Stuffy & bloody nose. Frequent bathroom trips. No balance. Really thirsty. Sore boobs. Reflux. Uncomfortable & pressure. Lightning crotch. Hard core emotional. Throbbing feet!
Feeling: emotional, anxious, impatient
Best Moment this Week: Hearing her being monitored. She moves like crazy!
What I Miss: not having severe gerd, being so much in weight bc it really takes a toll on my body & the chronic pain.
What I’m Looking Forward To: the day she arrives!
Next Appointment: next week / unless...

• Sunday night into Monday morning I was having contractions & every time I tried to sleep I couldn't get comfortable. I have the app Full Term & was using that to time it. They were really far apart so I just thought they would end. But In the morning they slowly got closer together so that for 1 hour they were 5 minutes apart. I called my dr and he had me go to the hospital to get checked out. It takes 40 minutes including morning work traffic.
They hooked me up & my belly was getting monitored. My blood pressure was a bit higher again. 136/80. My ankles were swollen. You could hear the times I had contractions & then when she moved & her heart beat race. I got a check up from another dr that was filling in. Unfortunately I'm not even dilating. And I thought I was having a slow leak but doesn't appear to be. The contractions were now about 10 minutes apart.
The doctor and nurses were extremely nice! And stated it was better to come on and get checked out then to not.
Things I learned: 1. I can have contractions all day. But they really only matter if they are 5 mins apart for longer then an hour. 2. Contractions gives you hot flashes.
After I got discharged I whined & got a shamrock shake! ( no sleep & it was 11 am - I have the zombie look going)

In my bag

I love reading and watching YouTuber's their what's in my bag. I guess I am a bit nosy. But really what blogger isn't?

Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez

While dumping everything out I did notice I over collect on receipts. I did not have any gum or gum wrappers since I am not a big gum chewer. Which is good because I used to be and a lot of purses got ruined that way.

Rice Cakes | Because we all need a healthy snack
Blistex (Orange Mango Blast) |  I normally keep this one and Raspberry Lemonade.
Cute panda | a Christmas gift. You can get yours at Forever 21. It is coconut scented.
Bath & Body Works PocketBac (Dancing waters) | a must in every purse
Sniff Tissues (VW Bug) | You can find these at 5 Below
Girl Online by Zoe Sugg | Christmas gift from husband. I wish I had brain functions to read it more. But I do while I am waiting for the doctor. It's always good to have a book in your purse. You never know when you have to wait or bored.
Everyday Wipes | I figured that since I will be a mom I will need these.  Turns out they are super handy now!
Step counter | This will help the days I actually am out and about and later with the baby.
Gemini pouch (I think from Ebay) | Pantiliners, Floss, Inhaler, Imodium (you wont believe how much this should be a must), a Zofran, and dry eyes drops.
Glasses pouch (Target last year) | no glasses in here. EOS hand lotion, e.l.f Matte Lip Color, e.l.f pressed powder
Grey Wallet with Studs | no money just a lot of doctor cards and store cards.
Very Bradley Zip Id Case (a gift 7 years ago) | I am keeping my quarters in for the hospital

Thirty One Gifts | the most important thing I realized being pregnant is this organizer. Coupons in one side, reminders for anything baby in my note pad, a calender from Target, and of course a Bow ties are cool pin.

That's everything in my bag for now.I also keep in hair ties and my cell.  I am not sure what I will have in after the baby. Thank goodness her diaper bag has a lot of room and tons of pockets.

What is a must for your bag? Do you keep a big bag or a small one? I clearly can't keep a small one.

Currently

[not sure who created this but its hysterical]

Besides being pregnant - here is what is going on in my life.

Reading: I honestly have been reading articles from the Parents Magazine I get. I do have the book "Girl Online" that I read when I'm waiting in the doctors office. I have not got into a good book in awhile. My mind is kind of pre-occupied. My Kindle Fire is well pooped out and only lasts a day and takes 2 or 3 days to charge. I cancelled my amazon book subscription.

Watching: New shows we are into: 1. CSI: Cyber that stars James Van Der Beek. It is a bit odd that he is doing something serious and an FBI agent. 2. Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates. You may remember him from Destination Truth and being a guest on Ghost Hunters.

Listening to: Pandora top stations are: 90s Pop Radio, Easy Listening Radio and Teen Pop Radio

Feeling: Exhausted & Emotional - which is typical for 39 weeks. Lonely - everyone has their own life and doesn't have time for me. My husband has been working extremely hard and I don't get the time I want with him and I know that will change once she is here.

Eating / Drinking: Chobani Greek Yogurt with fruit on the bottom. I wasn't a big fan of yogurt this whole pregnancy. 2 months ago I could put it in my smoothie and be okay and was hesitant when my husband brought it home for me. But so far 3 gone and I asked him to buy me more!
Gold Peak Iced Tea - I went through a bottle of it in one day. I really love their green tea.
100%  Ocean Spray Juice - I recommend the cranberry mango.
Water .. lots of lots of water. I feel like if I put it in a tumbler that I tend to drink more than in a regular cup. As if I am accomplishing something.

Anticipating: Spring weather - the snow is finally almost melted and we are getting temps between 40s and 50s here. Our baby girl, she could come any day now & I hope she does.

New Apps: Bubble Witch 2, BlogLovin, Full Term, and My Fitness Pal

What are some of your currents??

5 Fave Friday

Welcome to my new 5 favorites from this week! Feel free to link up or leave a comment down below of what you loved!

1. Monday my s.i.l treated me to Rita's. Possibly because I'm pregnant I thought the flavor were amazing! It was a Blendini (which I never had before), cookies n cream ice, strawberry custard, & gummy bears.

2. Monday we did some grocery shopping at Aldi. Which is different because we normally shop at Weis where he works. However, we went there for the Gluten Free food. [I will be strictly gf after the baby is born to help ease my chronic pain.] I picked up gf bread, gf pasta , gf Mac & cheese, gf chicken nuggets, and gf pancakes. There lunch meat is all gf already. And they have great labels that say if it is even if it's not specifically labeled on the package gf. My favorite is these:

3. This smoothie recipe (http://laurenconrad.com/blog/2013/01/sip-this-a-kale-smoothie-that-doesn-t-taste-like-grass-green-recipe/). My good friend Danielle (http://unspokenspells.blogspot.com) had sent me through Pinterest. I didn't add chai seeds & used coconut milk & peaches instead. But was still so refreshing!

4. Blog lovin app. I had this before when I blogged a lot. I just honestly forgot how great it is. Considering I can't sleep- I can finally catch up! Please remember to re-add me because I closed one & opened a different account. Click on the follow me on the right side.

5. Ocean Spray: 100% juice cranberry mango. Delicious & I didn't even have to water it down. My husband bought a bunch of flavors & only one of this one & of course it's by far my favorite!

Oh Baby! 38 Weeks!

Size of Baby: 39 cm (when the doc measures my belly) and at 37 weeks she was 6 lbs & 14 oz
Total Weight Gain/Loss:  61 gained & I'm telling you right now. So much water weight!
Maternity Clothes:  Yes. However, most don't fit me. Everything seems shorter!
Gender:  You can see here but we are having a little diva!
Belly Button In/Out: I have an innie but now it really is half out!
Stretch Marks: Yes, on my sides & some on the bump.
Labor Signs: false contractions.
Movement: she goes goes goes!
Sleep: i sleep between 2 - 5 hours at night. 5 being a good night / possibly if I take benedryl. I tend to just rely on daytime naps.
Cravings/Aversions:  junk food. I am doing my very best to avoid it & made sure to buy a lot of healthy food. Especially to keep making smoothies! I avoid a lot of food to try & stay away from reflux but most times it just doesn't matter!
Symptoms: swollen hands, feet, face. Pregnancy mask. Lower back & hip pain. False contractions. Bad preggy brain! Very tired. Stuffy & bloody nose. Frequent bathroom trips. No balance. Really thirsty. Sore boobs. Reflux. Uncomfortable & pressure. Lightning crotch. Hard core emotional. Throbbing feet!
Feeling: emotional, anxious, impatient
Best Moment this Week: actually it was last week: my ultra sound - I got to see her squishy face & she really looked mad! I loved that!
What I Miss: sleep, coffee, muscle relaxers (due to my chronic pain)
What I’m Looking Forward To: the day she arrives!
Next Appointment: next week / unless...
I have not been the very best at weekly updates. I have tried my very best.
Last Saturday we went to a prenatal class. It was a small group of 3. 21 weeks, 32 weeks, & me 37 / 38 weeks (I'm 38 & some days). It was almost 3 hrs long & $30 (which no one told me about the $ & I was glad my husband had cash on him). It was well worth it! It was a time we experienced as we were really going to be parents. I did some stretching, breathing, learned how to correctly push (not with your face/ teeth clenched), chin down & hold your legs. I thought it as what you do when your constipated and how to correctly push for popping. Watched a video that was weird but informative. Took a tour of the birthing area. The room was very nice & everything will happen in that room (unless c/section). Knowing we will not have a crazy amount of different nurses because they work 12 hour shifts is nice. It's not a big hospital & I actually really like that! And most important, the Mr. approved!
I got the nesting feeling at 8 months. So the nursery is ready. The rest of the house is getting there. The pack n play is up.
And per husband it is never coming apart! We out not fond over Gracos instructions! We meaning him!
I have been resting a lot. I get swollen so quickly. But I try my best to do what I can, even if it's sitting drying dishes or cleaning the fridge.
Now... I impatiently wait!

5 Fave Friday

1. Target's Nasal Decongestant Spray :  I use this at night because I wasn't able to breathe during this horrible had a cold.  I did ask my OB before taking it. He is the one who recommended it for me. I am not sure its the cheaper version of something I am sure. Anyway, it has been a lifesaver for me!

2. Broadchurch Season 2 on BBC America : Wednesday started season 2. Love this show so much.  Season 1 of Gracepoint was aired on Fox not too long ago. I watched the first episode and stopped. I prefer the original. It is an intense show and if you missed the first season, it is on Netflix!

3. Little Girl rompers like this.  I am looking forward to the warmer days where I can dress her up in rompers. Just like in the 80's but modern.

4. Scentsy Buddies : 2 years ago I bought two for a fundraiser for Tony Reyes family. A cat and a monkey. I kept the cat (Scratch The Cat) and gave the monkey to our niece.  The scent pack I got was Autumn something. It is still going strong in smell! I just put in an order to get a softer smell to put in the babies room. The buddies are adorable and soft.  Apparently, the scent pack is listed to smell for up to a month.  But in two years my cat still smells very strong.

5. "18" by One Direction: These lyrics ..
"I have loved you since we were 18
Long before we both thought the same thing
To be loved and to be in love
And all I could do is say that these arms were made for holding you, oh
And I wanna love like you made me feel when we were 18"

We started dating when I was 19. Last night I had this dream that seemed like we were young again. And oddly it made me re-fall in love with him.  We have been together for so long sometimes you have to remember the beginnings.  Something I joked as a teenager, in 8th grade writing down Mrs.Dieter on my notebook came true 6 years ago.  Any day we will be having a little girl come into this world - it's all so very emotional for me.

And that is my 5 Fave for Friday and some mushy feelings!
